Programs – College Tours

Surprisingly, some academically talented students have many misconceptions about college and do not desire to further their education because of experiences in high school.  Others, want to attend but lack the information and resources necessary to prepare adequately. Exposure to college life and other campus opportunities is key to defeating misconceptions.   College, university, vocational and trade school tours are available.  Past tours have sparked college interest and have yielded graduates from Tennessee State University, enrollment at College of Southern Maryland, Bowie State University, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.  A deliberate effort is made to tour engineering, mathematics, and science facilities where laboratories are explored and interaction with current students and professors is encouraged.  On occasion, youth are allowed to observe engineering  presentations.  In-state and out-of-state college tours are offered. Your generous donations and support will allow this program to continue.
